Operations and Warehouse Manager

The Operations and Warehouse Manager will ensure seamless day-to-day operations and exceptional customer experiences. This will not be a creative position, but it will be essential in maintaining efficiency, optimizing processes, and overseeing inventory. 

Schedule:

  • Full-time, hybrid work from home. Some weekends necessary.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Must possess an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Must be able to lift 70lbs
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and shipping carriers
What You Will Own and Improve:
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless day-to-day operations
  • Coordinate deliveries, pickups, and pack and ship orders to ensure timely and accurate processing
  • Handle claims and resolve issues with shipping carriers and suppliers
  • Coordinate merchandise and location rentals, from initial inquiries to bookings
  • Manage inventory restorations and in-house restorations, including coordination of supplies and progress tracking
  • Optimize warehouse and showroom organization and maintenance
How Success Will Be Measured:
  • Improved order fulfillment and shipping accuracy
  • Reduction in shipping and fulfillment errors and customer complaints
  • Efficient inventory management and improved stock turnover
  • Successful execution of in-house restorations and projects
  • Smooth coordination of deliveries and pickups with minimal delays

 Marketing and Sales Manager

As our Marketing and Sales Manager, you'll take the lead in crafting compelling marketing campaigns, enhancing brand awareness, and driving sales conversions. You love interior design, decorating, and styling. You spend as much time ideating interesting new ways of engaging with followers as you spend following others. You have an instinct for content that makes your audience crack a smile, droll with desire, or raise an eyebrow and want to learn more. 

Schedule:

  • Part-time, hybrid work from home. Some weekends necessary.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Proven experience in marketing and sales, preferably within the design or home decor industry
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven marketing strategies
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and marketing automation tools
  • Strong video and editing skills 
  • Impeccable written and communication skills
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and creative
  • Fun, outgoing, and a willingness to be on camera

What You Will Own and Improve:

  • Collaborate with Owner and Director of Merchandising to ideate marketing efforts that align with higher objectives and needs
  • Photograph new inventory, edit, upload, and organize files
  • Maintain our social calendar, write creative copy, and schedule posts
  • Plan and create on brand weekly content across Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, and Mailchimp
  • Manage all communication with customers, trade members, and press
  • Support with ongoing website maintenance
  • Plan and execute all events such as art shows, pop ups, and industry events
  • Analyze sales data, marketing performance, and customer behavior to optimize marketing efforts
  • Implement SEO initiative plan

How Success Will Be Measured:

  • Increased brand awareness and customer engagement
  • Growth in traffic, subscribers, and followers
  • Higher conversion rates and sales from marketing efforts
  • Positive customer feedback and reviews

 Inventory and Merchandising Intern

Do you spend countless hours saving interior design inspiration on Pinterest boards? Do you constantly rearrange your bedroom for maximum feng shui? Are you a passionate thrifter and DIYer? Do you want to learn more about the ins and outs of running a small home goods business? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you might want to join Betsu Studio as an inventory and merchandising intern! 

Schedule:

  • 12 hours weekly, 3 month minimum

What you will have the opportunity to work on: 

  • Process incoming inventory, including research and creative copywriting
  • Upload and sync inventory across digital sales platforms 
  • Curate online product collections and assist with showroom merchandising
  • Create industry trend reports
  • Assist with photo styling 
  • Assist with management of incoming & outgoing inventory and order fulfillments
  • Collaborate on acquisition of local art + photography
  • Assist in pulling sales data analytics and participate in monthly sales meetings. 
  • Semester long project: research and present one brand-aligned vendor partnership

What you already know: 

  • How to manage and prioritize your time efficiently in a fast-paced, nimble, small-team environment. 
  • How to work and communicate with a flexible, positive, can-do attitude
  • How to roll up your sleeves and fill in wherever needed
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have your finger on the pulse of interior design and industry trends
