Lucille dabbed her lips with the corner of a linen napkin, adjusted her blouse, and gave the mirror one final glance. She didn’t trust it—at least, not entirely. It was the kind of mirror that softened sharpness, smoothed tension, gave just enough grace to keep you guessing.

Hung in the entryway since ’54, it had been her last-minute checkpoint for decades: first dates, funerals, interviews, an impromptu tango night with the neighbor from 2B. The floral etching caught the light just right when the sun dipped past the west windows, making her feel—if only for a second—like she was starring in a black-and-white film.

It didn’t always reflect reality, but it always reflected her version of it.

Returns

If you aren't totally happy with a purchase, please contact us within 3 days of delivery. Some returns may be accepted for store credit or exchange only. Shipping costs are non-refundable, and all costs for return shipment are the responsibility of the customer.
